Our "Go Green" Plan of Action

Flowers and Greenery:

Ensuring the flowers that we purchase are coming from environmentally friendly sources is no longer the challenge that it was before. Nowadays many of the farms that supply our wholesalers are certified by the Rainforest Alliance and we only buy those flowers that are pesticide, chemical free and where know the workers are treated well. Chelsea Floral Designs has now started growing its own greenery and is also in the early stages of growing flowers too. Updates to follow!

Water Conservation Measures:

Keeping water in buckets longer not only conserves water but it is better for the flowers. Our flower water is also used for outside plants when we are finished with it so it serves two purposes. We hand built our walk in flower cooler and installed special air conditioning units that produce clean re-useable water that our flowers are then stored in.
